Basiia packages sewage treatment plants for remote industrial sites, camps, and facilities where connection to municipal infrastructure is not available. Our systems are designed for minimal operator intervention, reliable performance in harsh environments, and effluent quality meeting applicable discharge standards. We offer a full range of biological treatment technologies — Activated Sludge, MBBR, MBR, and SBR — selected to match site population, footprint constraints, effluent reuse requirements, and operator capability.

Engineered for Performance

Activated Sludge (AS)

Conventional activated sludge process with aeration basins and secondary clarifiers — proven technology for medium to large flows with flexible nutrient removal configurations (nitrification, denitrification, biological phosphorus removal).

MBBR — Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor

Plastic carrier media suspended in aerated basins provide a high-surface-area biofilm for biological treatment — compact footprint, robust to load variations, and easily retrofitted into existing tanks.

MBR — Membrane Bioreactor

Submerged ultrafiltration membranes replace secondary clarifiers — producing high-quality effluent (TSS <1 mg/L, turbidity <1 NTU) suitable for reuse, in a significantly smaller footprint than conventional AS.

SBR — Sequencing Batch Reactor

Fill-and-draw batch process combining aeration, settling, and decanting in a single tank — ideal for variable or intermittent flows, remote sites, and applications requiring nutrient removal without separate clarifiers.

Compact Skid or Containerised Design

Packaged in skid or containerised format for rapid deployment and ease of transport to remote locations — factory-assembled, tested, and ready for site connection.

Effluent Polishing & Disinfection

Optional UV disinfection, chlorination, and media filtration polishing stages to meet stringent discharge or reuse standards — including treated effluent suitable for landscape irrigation.
