Spray dryers convert concentrated brine, slurry, or liquid waste streams into a dry, free-flowing powder in a single operation — eliminating liquid waste entirely. Hot gas atomises the feed into fine droplets, evaporating moisture almost instantaneously. Engineered for Performance
Rotary Atomiser & Two-Fluid Nozzle
Rotary atomiser discs for high-throughput, low-viscosity feeds; two-fluid pressure nozzles for abrasive or high-viscosity slurries — both producing fine, uniform droplets for rapid drying.
Co-Current & Counter-Current Flow
Co-current designs for heat-sensitive feeds; counter-current for maximum thermal efficiency — chamber geometry and airflow pattern selected to match product temperature and moisture requirements.
Integrated Powder Recovery
Cyclone separators and bag filter systems recover dry product from the exhaust gas stream — achieving high collection efficiency and minimising particulate emissions.
Heat Source Flexibility
Compatible with natural gas burners, electric heaters, waste heat recovery, or steam-heated air — inlet temperatures from 150°C to 500°C depending on feed and product requirements.
FGD Wastewater Drying
Spray dryer absorbers (SDA) inject concentrated FGD wastewater into the flue gas stream — moisture evaporates and residual solids are captured with fly ash, achieving ZLD without a crystalliser.
Emissions Control
Exhaust gas treatment with fabric filters, wet scrubbers, or activated carbon injection — meeting local air quality regulations for particulate, SO₂, and trace contaminant emissions.
